Dry Roasted Popcorn Almonds
If I were to be honest. I made these almonds taste like this by mistake. Although, I am glad I made the mistake. I ran out of olive oil & was trying to figure out what to use & I saw my husband purchased this ghee with turmeric & I thought to myself “hmm, this should do the trick”. Once I made the snack & tasted, I was shock. I tried it a couple more times & instantly thought of popcorn.
When my husband came home, I had to ask for his opinion (that’s the best taste tester, other than your kids) & he said it was really good & he can taste the popcorn flavor.
What is great about this recipe is you can simply change the flavor of the almonds just by using a different oil like avocado which has a more neural flavor. Neutral flavor oils will allow you to manipulate the flavor with specifically the seasonings.
The next flavor I am going to try is a sweet one. Let me know in the comments below if this is a recipe you’ll be interested in me creating but low carb style.
I know you will enjoy this one so I would love to hear your thoughts down below.

If you don't have ghee, you can use any other oil but the popcorn flavor wont be there. The almonds will have a different taste depending on what oil you use with the seasoning.
