Cherry Blend Smoothie
I am not a big fan of cherries and never was….until now. My husband went to the grocery store after work one day and brought home a frozen cherry blend bag instead of berry medley like the shopping list had written on it and it was one of best mistakes he has made.
I then decided welp…it is what it is, not going to ask him to go to the store again so i’ll just make do. Even though I never liked cherries, something told me to give this a try because I may like it more than I initially thought. I was very surprised of the flavor, it wasn’t sour and sweet like traditional berries. The flavor of the cherries was a lot sweeter than what I used to so of course I enjoyed it very much.
Even though this wouldn’t be considered “keto” or “low-carb” it would be considered moderate low-carb therefore fits into my diet very well. Time and time again I have always enjoyed having a meal that reminded me of dessert for breakfast and this definitely did it for me.
