Strawberry Maple Bliss

What do you guys believe me if I told you that this recipe was made by accident?

It was a late afternoon, and I was trying to create my summer strawberry biscuits, if you have not checked out that recipe, be sure to hit on this link here to check it out or watch the video on my new YouTube channel, Saphia Inspires.

As I said, I was making this recipe and ran out of an ingredient; honestly, I could not tell you—I don't remember. But then I decided, "Okay, you know what, I will have to add maple syrup to the mix." So now that I'm saying this out loud, it was probably the sweetener I use for most of my baked goods.

I proceeded to put maple syrup inside of my strawberries to create the macerated mixture. I let that sit in the fridge, went ahead and added in the rest of the ingredients, and said to myself, "This is not going to taste like biscuits at all; there is no way that this is going to taste like biscuits." So then I decided to tweak the recipe a little bit, use a little bit more flour, and change the ratio of baking powder and baking soda.

That is how I created the Strawberry Maple Bliss goodies.

When I tell you this snack is so good, I would say this is perfect as a breakfast treat or as a midnight snack.

It is great for all my summer treat lovers, but it is also great for the fall season, which is right around the corner. As you are reading this blog post, if you try this recipe, be sure to comment on what you liked about it.

If there was something you didn’t like, give me suggestions so I can tweak the recipe and make it even better for you all. The video for this recipe is also going to be at the bottom of the blog post.

Until next time, be blessed!
